We have had it about a year now, and it's great. We have been able to bypass some long lines at DFW airport. However, to us one of the best features is in addition to Global Entry, you also get to be a "known traveler" with the TSA. That allows you to use the pre-check lines to get through security which is another huge time saver. Tom & Lorie
I have been debating this, but the problem is that the nearest "offices for interviews" are over 2 hours away !! Just don't know if its worth it...
The TSA Pre-Check is the best money I have spent in years. My record at Nashville is 1 minute, 14 seconds from the front door to the other side of the scanner. Pre-Check has saved me hours already this year.
I may sign up for Precheck today.... Wonder if we can get our interviews and preCheck within 30 days... hmmm....
https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/main/goes/HomePagePreAction.do the GOES part is 100 bucks...I believe for 5 years.. ... you also need a person to person interview at limited locations....make sure there is one close to you
in salt Lake city...we filled out paperwork, and got email to schedule interview within 5 days... and interview is within 4 days, and could have had it in two days.......will vary by location
