we'll be there for a week sept 27 - oct4. Can you tell me about what to bring to wear for dinner? How many dressy places vs casual places? And define casual, please. For both me and Jim.
I wore a dress to dinner every evening. Hubby just took khaki shorts and a collared shirt. He never wore pants but we went in June and it was hot
i just read 0n here somewhere that for casino night men must be in underwear and shirtless? Is that correct? LOL! ( I'd just die if someone shows up in the fruit of the loom tidy whities! )
People usually dress in "real" clothes for dinner, then change into lingerie or other theme outfits afterwards. You can wear just about anything to the buffet--I've been in there in everything from shorts and a tank top to a fairly fancy sun dress. You'll want something nicer than shorts for the restaurants. Anything you feel good in on vacation is fine--you'll see some ladies in slacks, some in long gowns, and everything in between. Sexy/cling/short is always popular!
We just got back and for the Asian and Italian, they have it specified as "Smart Casual - No flip flops, sports shorts or sleeveless t-shirts".
For lingerie night, pants/slacks are not allowed for the men. You don't have to go shirtless. You will see a lot of boxers and briefs on the men at the casino lingerie night.
We always dress it up for the restaurants - just how we role. But, August is way too hot for pants, so hubby wears a stylin' pair of shorts /w a nice bright tropical polo shirt (he's Latin, so I think he looks smokin' HOT :doh He does get away with his leather pairs of sandals (flip flops'ish) tho - I got nothin'!!! Me: always in a hot dress/skirt; stilettos etc., just a given while at TTR
