So I'm debating on whether or not to upgrade to a Jacuzzi room when we get there tomorrow. Last year we stayed in the 5000 block on the second floor and thought our room was pretty good. I liked being able to go out on the balcony and smoke a cigar and have a beer while Tracy got ready. Not to mention it faced the courtyard so it was pretty quiet, and provided enough privacy that if Tracy wanted to surprise me with a sexy show it felt just risque enough without compromising her concerns about other people seeing. The shower was good, AC seemed to be fine. Bed was fine.. I'd like to be able to relax and enjoy some sexy/ alone time with the wife in a Jacuzzi, but I don't want to get stuck in one of those horror stories where the AC isn't working, or plaster is falling off the ceiling from water damage, or the bass from the music or People yelling "WooHoo!" until 5 am at Pati'Os keep us awake. I know no matter what, getting a room at TTR is kinda like playing russian-rulet; you get what you get, sometimes you win- sometimes you lose. I just don't want to pay extra and get a crappy room. Does anyone know what the upgrade charge would be per night? Do you have experience with the Jacuzzi rooms, are they worth it? Are there any Jacuzzi rooms on the second floors so we wouldn't need to feel like we're putting on a balcony show every time? Thanks Everyone!!! See you Fockers tomorrow at the sexy pool!!!!
You might want to read this thread. I think it answers most of your questions. http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/28655-jacuzzi-suites.html
Hey Jordan. At this time of year I would try to upgrade on site and offer $50 a night. At that rate it is worth it. Ask them to show you to the room. If u don't like it then ask nicely for another one. I would avoid the corner near nice shoes. Can be noisy. As for Tracey's privacy concerns they all are on the 1st floor but most have privacy shades on the balcony. Not all do though so when they show you the room check for a privacy shade. Have fun. I know you will. Then come back in October as once a year just isn't enough
We are here right now and we were able to get an ocean front jacuzzi suite for $50 extra per night, maybe because it is our anniversary. Room 1301 is great.
Nice. That is a great price for one of those. Love those rooms. You must have a party on the balcony with the amazing view. Take some pics. We got one of those for $75 a night and it was well worth it at that price!!!
Some friends got a deal last minute in May...It was nice to hang out there before dinner, but I don't think we'd ever pay for the upgrade.
We get it every time. Coming again in October and will do it again. I had one where we were able to walk out the patio right into the quiet pool area and saved us a lot of walking. Most you can't do that on. I enjoyed early morning time in there and depending on the time of year you go can be a nice warm up from a rainy day or a cooler day in the pool. And most importantly......no flights of steps.
