Oooh wow. I just looked at alpha rooms and it came up as $155 a night. I would jump on that quick. Their rate seems to change daily. Also with them if you don't get that rate sometimes it is because they know you were looking at those dates previously and they raise the rate. Try again from a different computer and you will get the original lower rate.

 

If moving to another machine doesn't get you the lower rate I have heard from others that you can call to explain the situation and they will give you the lower rate. Never done it myself but that is what others have said.

I think it works differently here in Canada cause our flights are so friggin' expensive. The flight we want is $1589 CAD (gets us in at 1pm on the 4th). That's what changed here on this end.

 

That really sucks. I can't believe the east coast is so expensive. Can you fly to the states would it be cheaper. Our flight from Buffalo NY was only $300 each.

 

Couldn't you clear your cookies. That should do the same as a new computer. Unless they flag your IP address.

 

Bangor ME is the closest airport. About a 4 hour drive.The flight out of Bangor is a bit cheaper (about $600 pp) but not enough to drive 8 hours.

I have also found that using a different browser gets you different rates.
