Im just a complete idiot and have no filter lol! Especially when I am drinking! I am sure I have showed way more ppl than I should have the outfits I ordered! I showed my mom pics...her comment "Jacqueline, your not wearing that!" And my response "yes I am and your a prude" and I actually was not even drinking when I showed her the pics! Aug 1st can't get here soon enough! Our friends on the other hand haven't told anyone where they r going except to Cancun. She keeps telling ppl she has no clue where they r staying cause her friend booked the trip, it's all good lol! Wait.....is it Aug yet!?!
I tell my folks I'm staying at Barcelo cancun!!! My friends know where I go to tho!!! They're secretly jealous- they go to Europe with their family or other half. My ex has my kids, so mammy get a week off!!! Whoop whoop. 16 days and counting.
When I told my coworkers about TTR they all went home and googled. Some prudes passed mean comments. But The one I think is most holier than thou said her husband would love it!!! She gave me a big hug when I said I'd rebooked this year. Wouldn't dare tell my folks...they think I'm a bad person cos I've got tattoos!!!!!
Close friends know we go to TTR. However this year someone from my work snooped on my computer and found out where we go and decided to spread rumors, so this year we're telling everyone we're going to a different resort. Oh and I had to stop getting on CCC on my computer because of nosey people :-/
Pays to lock your computer when you leave your desk...which you shouldn't have to IMO. Next time you catch him / her snooping your computer give them royal shit rather loudly and then very quietly tell them you are going to break their fingers if happens again. As for the rumours tell them to STFU and remind them that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...will make them think you have something on them
We have done all sorts of variations.. Cancun, Le Meridian, TTR and also forgot the name routine ... Depends on who we are speaking with... Thinking to come clean and just say TTR with caveat the it is a bit 'risque' but fun... People can think what they want anyway... Counting the days and nice to have made so many friends on the site beforehand. We are not in the process of memorizing the smiling avatar faces in the hopes that we can recognize everyone who we've been communicating with... We used the Riu dodge, because there are so many of them, for people who's business it's none of (and the feint of heart) but most of our good friends know and even share the gory details with. Some are like, no thanks, and some are intrigued.
