We just had over $1000 withdrawn from our account in 3 separate transactions, today. My bank is of course cancelling the transactions...now I just have to deal with being without a card for a week. We used the ATM in the store on June 16...
No worries. It'll be back in my account in 24 hours...thank God for those bank notifications! I knew they had this problem earlier this year but I thought I saw something that said it was being dealt with.
I read a post on this last year. Now I make sure to bring enough cash so I don't need the ATM . Anything else I use my credit card with no foreign transaction fees, and it's easier to dispute a charge than dealing with your bank account. Jeff
we used it in early May after they fixed it the first time, we had no problems. sorry it happened again. have to watch for atm having a fake swiper.
