We returned from our 2nd trip on 13th June and all we've done is talk about when we are gonna return! I miss TTR so much! I sit in work day dreaming of being in the Sexy Pool, music pumping, drinks in hand and my Wife next to me talking to all the great friends we made and i just wanna cry! Lol! Uch..We now have a dilema also as Mrs T wants to go to Glasonbury Festival, which don't get me wrong is on my 'bucket list'...We still want to squeeze a TTR trip in, which will be our 3rd, but we just don't know when to come! Prices are all over the place for alterantive months. We've had some folks offer us their 'referral weeks' too which is tempting...ahhh man! #TTRBlues!
I know the feeling. I have only been once (Dec) and now I hang on on here and read trip reports to pass the time. It's like it's own little world. Our next trip (this upcoming Dec) can't come soon enough. I am trying to convince hubby that we need to go twice next year, even if the trips are a few days shorter. When is the festival? Hubby and I almost always vacay in December and have always had pretty good luck with the weather, I think it's a great time to go. If you get there just before the kids let out for Christmas break, prices are way cheaper for air and hotels in general.
THat's while they call this an addiction. It takes me months to get over being there - and that's only if I book another trip to go back! So much fun, great people and nobody gives a shit!

It's a super expensive trip for us though from the UK and a 10 hour flight, but completely worth it!!! Yea, Morgan wanted to try December however we couldnt find the 'right price' and alot of people said how mild it is in December? The festival is the last week of June. We are, typically, June Junkies... We have some amazing friends that we have made in the month of June! I know everyone (pretty much) who goes to TTR are awesome and of the same mindset but still... Alot of love for months of Feb, May, June, July, October and December i see....it's just deciding which month wins? Lol. x
There's not a "bad" time to go. You're always going to meet fun people. That said, there is a lot to be said for going the same time every year. You'll already know a bunch of people and just meet more; you feel instantly like you're back home. But what with jobs, airfares, various stuff that comes up, sometimes you just have to jump on a last minute deal and do a spontaneous trip. After a day or 2 at the sexy pool, you'll know a bunch of fun new people.
Yeah, that's true you do pay more coming from the UK and the 10 hour flight... We have found prices the first two weeks of Dec to be very reasonable. Right now $159 for the basic room, USD, per night. I like the idea of going at the same time every year too b/c of the built in friends but something tells me if you went every June plus every December/nov/jan, etc, you would have TWO groups of friends! Now as far as it being mild in December...I can't really say bc I haven't been any other time. I did not consider it mild though. LOL We were pretty much naked in the pool and doing pretty naugthy body shots right up at the bar, some girls even took a shot right off my hubbys you know what! in Broad daylight. LOL...
Your experiencing the "TTR Withdrawal Syndrome." It's a clinical diagnosis everyone gets when they return home. Unfortunately, it only gets worse with each succeeding trip!! Unfortunately, there is no official cure. Try laying poolside topless at home, and pretend your Sex on the Beach (you made in your kitchen) came from the swim up bar. Small consolation we know but its something! And of course, book your next trip ASAP!!

We completely understand, Sophie. We started talking about a second trip on the flight home June 7! Thus, we are very likely going to be back at TTR in early October as "Octoberbreasters" instead of "June Junkies." We met so many wonderful people while we were there in early June (Sophie - you, Morgan and the rest of the Wales gang are awesome!) and can't wait to go back and meet even more. Pam didn't get to wear all of her outfits, so there is another reason to go back, right?!?! Plus, she can shop for more outfits that will match up with the Octoberbreast theme nights. Cant wait to get back! Hope to see some of y'all in early October!
Have to admit, we go through a bit of a depression when we get home. Usually never felt that way about other vacations.
