So we are getting in pretty early on the 3rd, what should we expect from the hotel? Will they let us in or are we going to have to kill a couple of hours? BTW, what time is check in>
Check in isn't until 3pm but you COULD get a room if they have one ready but bet on it! Yes..they will let u in and they will hold your bags for U until they are ready for U to check in! Pack your swimsuits in your carry on on Top! U can change in the lobby bathroom are start your FUN at the Sexy Pool! :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:
Thanks! I thought that was the case, but thought I better check. We will hopefully be getting to the hotel around 11AM on the 3rd and really didn't want to have to wait to dip into the sexy pool!

We did the same thing; got there early, they didn't have a room ready where we requested, so we went and started the party at the sexy pool. When we finally went to check-in, the woman told us our Gardenview Room was considered an Oceanview and there would be an extra fee. After me causing a scene in the lobby they gave us our room at no extra charge. Be vigilant of the hotel front desk trying to rip you off.
We always get to TTR before check-in time, which is formally 3:00 p.m., We get in from the flight ~12:30 p.m., and we check-in, but the room is usually not ready, is what I mean. The bell station keeps the bags until the room assignment, so that's no problem - they watch the stuff like hawks. In the outside pocket of your bag simply stash your lady's thong bikini bottom, a sheer cover up so she doesn't feel all the way naked (unless she digs that, then it's OK of course0) to wwalk from inside the hotel proper out to the pool area, have your man-trunks or whatever you're going to sport in there as well, a sunscreen and the shades you're going to wear and hat if you need it. Change intot hat, and go hit the pool and start the party. Just don't get so carried away that you forget to go get your room, you might miss an opportunity for an upgrade or something.
We arrived before check in time last year. They gave us our bracelets and said to come back after 3. We left our stuff with the doorman and brought a bag with our swimsuits and headed straight to the pool.
We arrive at noon. We usually always have to wait for a room. Lucky for me, my thong & orange wristbands fit in my purse! And that is all I need to be fully dressed at the Sexy Pool!
An upgrade....that's funny! The resort was. supposedly, sold out when we were there but we asked for an upgrade as it was Blondie's 50th b-day and the honeymoon that we never able to take. They said they can't do upgrades because the resort is sold out. Then they turn around and offer us an upgrade at full price. I have not heard of anyone saying that they got a comp upgrade.
Our first trip to TTR, we had booked an ocean view, and asked for an upgrade... We got room 1261, which had an INSIDE the bathroom jacuzzi tub (Not on a patio) that easily held 3 people, and was friggin great... We thought all the TTR rooms were like this, as we didn't know better... lol.
