I realise the Bubba mugs are priced higher than what you may find in Walmart Target etc. But obviously we don't have the capacity to buy tens of thousands at once so the price per unit for us is higher, we also include shipping in our price (Bubba charge $5 for each mug on their site) and obviously the mug is customised with the cancuncare logo which adds in additional costs. Then add in a little extra to pay for the time and effort involved in managing and fulfilling orders and the price we have is the minimum we can sell them for. They are also a one off purchase that can be used time and time again. And of course, you dont have to buy one if you dont want one
I think this is awesome, Steve!! I don't think you will have any problem getting peeps to buy these mugs, fans of this site will gladly spend the extra money to support your efforts and be recognized at the pool! Now, if someone knows that works well to label the mugs/doesn't rub off, I'd love to hear. After a week of sun block, chlorine, and alcohol, I'm thinking permanent marker may not do the trick!
Thanks! We were looking at various ways of offering a customisation option for the mugs to include names etc by way of engraving or stickers- but we didnt find anything we were 100% happy with. If anyone does know of such an option that works well and lasts then we can definitely look into that.
