Exactly 1 week from today i'll be at Temptation anxious since it will be my first time and going alone.
Question for other solo travelers.... I have only been to this resort once.....8 years ago when it was still Bluebay Getaway. On that visit, the people at the resort appeared to be 3/4 couple and 1/4 solo and it seemed like everyone got along without effort. In reading some of the post threads on this board, the vibe seems substantially different. Some posters actively discourage solo bookings while others post messages that are hostile to solo travelers (really, solo men). Is that situation simply a function of Internet Tough Guy Syndrome that is not a reality "on the ground", or will I find the actuality at the resort to be equally unwelcoming? For those of you who have travelled solo to this resort in the last two years, I would appreciate your insight. When I visited previously, many of the solo travelers tended to grab loungers at the end of the Party Pool opposite from the poolbar. Is there currently a "set" area where solo travelers tend to gather during the day? One final question, at night do most of the solo travelers go to the clubs or stay at the resort? :lotsofmichaelfs: Fun Robb......don't worry about it at all. There are a few people online who have had bad experiences with single guys and aren't all that crazy about them. "Generally" it's a group of younger single guys who get into a bit of a pack mentality and forget to be respectful and that it's not a free for all. The majority of people there are fun, open to meeting new people and having a great time, being respectful and getting along with no effort....just as you experienced before. Go with the expectation you're going to meet a great bunch of people, have the time of your life and just be respectful and all will be okay! I've never noticed the singles gathering together in one area.....but maybe I'm just obilivious to that....lol. As for clubs, I think it really depends on the week and the vibe of people you're hanging with and really what you're looking for. Theme nights seem to be a big draw at the resort and if you're into that.....it's probably the best party in town. Have a great time, get on the roll call for when you're going and start meeting people! :lotsofmichaelfs:

Always enjoy life...... It is the Caribbean.......with an open bar......and hopefully a fun crowd. I think I can manage to have a little fun..... Something tells me that finding a partner will not be your toughest task this year...I am psychotic, I know things. ;-)
