I have a similar story, but not at TTR - at a shopping centre in the UK - a very drunk older lady trying to buy something at Argos in the middle of the day. I don't think there's an equivalent store in the US, so to describe it quickly - it's sort of like a discount store where you look up items you want in a catalogue (furniture, toys, bedding, diy etc.), pay for it at the till then wait for your number to be called whilst they go look for it in the storeroom. Anyway, I was behind this woman at the till, and she took ages to place her order. When I got to the checkout the girl behind the counter looked a bit scared. She showed me the order slip this woman had tried to order something from and it was just a scrawl - couldn't make out any words at all, hence why she'd taken so long. I asked if she was ok, and the girl just said she was blind drunk. I placed my order and went to the wait area, where this woman was now sitting down on one of the seats. My item was called first, and as I went to collect it I heard this woman loudly announce that she needed to pee, then about 5 seconds later we all heard dripping sounds - she was peeing right there on the seat!! I got out of there as quickly as possible - feel very sorry for the staff that had to clean that mess up.
Worst thing that happen to us was two days into our trip, Eric sliced the bottom of his foot open on a sharp tile in the pool. Left a trail of blood from the pool to the shower. Was really deep but there was no way Eric was going to the Mexico E.R. About a week later, I did the exact same thing. Not good. Didn't let it spoil out trip, but we sure looked funny limping around the resort. LOL.
Bummer about the cut, but don't worry about the hospitals in Mexico, especially in a place that's full of tourists. I broke two vertebrae in Mexico and went to the hospital in San Jose Del Cabo. It was excellent, top notch doctors who spoke good english, I got CAT scans and X-rays, and had at least one DR and nurse with me the whole time.
The worst thing that happened to me was having to eat dinner by myself because everyone else in our party fell under The First Day Curse. I made sure Candace was propped safely before I went to dinner, because I'm considerate that way.

Sounds like Mr. team's first day on first trip to TTR...fell under the first day curse, left Mrs. team and friends and dinner and managed to somehow stumble back to the room. Mrs. didn't have a room key but I apparently realized that and propped the door open for her. Of course this had to happen on lingerie night that I missed and don't recall any of this happening!
