About 6 months ago there was a bunch of rumors that Temp was planning some major construction this year. I believe even Steve posted something about hearing it from upper management. Some of these rumors even involved demolition of some buildings, specifically the buffet area. Has anyone heard anything lately?
We haven't heard anything about that. We were just there and there was no talk about renovations. I know that Desire is doing renovations of the buffet andvthe pool in September.
I heard that they were backing away from the expansion talk and just concentrating on smaller scale things for the time being.
When we were there we heard they were going to add more rooms and build up around PatyOs and expand the sexy pool. Not sure how true this is though..
We've just returned from TTR. They are doing work. Nothing major, i'd call it 'touch ups'...for example, they are replacing some pipes and flooring over by the quiet pool, stripping and re-painting the 5000 Block red paint and replacing the thatched roofs on the huts near the sports pool and on the beach!
One thing we noticed during our 9 day stay at the end of May - a group of 3-4 folks reviewing what appeared to be plans of some sort. We were sitting down in Paty O's and they were up on 2nd floor near our room at the end of the hall - looking over the resort over the buffet area. Obviously planing something but sorry I don't have any more details than that...
