Hey guys: We just found this site/forums a few days before we leave for our first trip to Cancun / Temptations. We would love some advice on what we should take (out of the ordinary). With it looking like rain will be there, will we still have a lot of fun at Temptations? This is our first big trip together and we are looking for as much fun as possible!!! We will be arriving on Friday, 6th and staying through the 11th. Again, all advice welcome! Thanks a lot!
Of course sun is better but you will still have fun. My advice is to go on the roll call and make as many friends as possible before you go and then find them when you get there. When the weather turns on you, having those friends will assure that you have something fun to do.

My advice? Cancel your trip. Don't go! Unless you want to waste your hard earned money planning return trips (and never soon enough), buying skimpy outfits for the wife, bikini's, of which she won't even wear the tops anymore, it goes on and on. Cancel, get off this site, run, save yourself.
It's all true. It's too late for us but save yourselves! BTW, a money saving tip, at the-bikini.com you can buy bottoms only so you don't waste money on those pesky tops. You'll thank me later.

We came back in April from our first trip. Our tips. Talk to everyone on here before you go, the people we didn't talk to as much turned out to be awesome. Talk to everyone when you are there. This will help you figure out who fits with your personality. What I mean by that is you will have more fun in my opinion if you get in a good group that you can spend time with at the pool, eat dinner with, watch your back when men get stupid..etc For the ladies you need very little clothing. Bottoms to bikinis, a few tops, a good cover up for lunch. Sexy outfits for night time. Men- need bathing suits at least 3 so you can dry and rotate. T-shirts with bathing suits for lunch. Nice beach ware for nighttime. I did button down shirts with light pants. Sexy stuff for sexy time if your so inclined. Light up shit for night time. Meds, stomach, head, feet Hats- big ass ones required for men and female, your shit will burn. Shoes- flip flops and ones for night time Towel or shirt with your CC names on it to reserve your chair if you are one of those people. We just mooched Waterproof backpack. Camera if you want pics- just remember no asky no pics Tip money- we went thru that fast Keep your immigration stuff on the way there for on the way back or they screw you for 60 bucks or something stupid. Yes that happened to us. Yummy smelling dryer sheets to put around your room, and tip your maid for extra water.
Shit, one last point, reminded to me by another post. Have the talk with your significant other. Do's donts expectations. Constant communication for the things that might occur at TTR.
