I just booked 2 flights from Dallas to Cancun on Sun Country Airlines. Total cost after fees was $1107. I have never heard of this airline but I looked them up and they have good reviews anyone ever flown with them?

We used them two years ago. They were cheaper than American at the time. Right now our flights in October are running vetween 440 and 500 depending on the day you look.

American was $884 per person before all the fees for our dates in Dec. We saved a bunch.

American foes not charge baggage fees for international flights either which is nice. You guys will be fine with Sun Country. Our only issue was the talkative senior citizen that sat on our row. The flight is only 2 1/2 hours so it wasn't bad except when he pull out a bag of popcorn to eat and the smell was a little overwhelming.

Sun Country is fine. Flown several. They are all about the same. All flights from DFW to Cancun are too much. Can never figure out why its as much and sometimes more from DFW than from some northern cities.

We fly Sun Country a lot..Great little airline based out of Minneapolis..Never had 1 single issue with them and our bags are free for our trip to TTR in Oct which saves our group of 8 $400 total..We have a lot of miles accumulated with them so our Feb 2015 trip we will be flying for free

Out of Minneapolis its pretty much dominated by Delta and we cant stand Delta so if Sun Country flies to where we want we always take them..Delta are bullies

I don't get it. I can fly out of Omaha through Dallas round trip for 2 on American for $974. Why is it so expensive to fly out of Dallas? I realize you talking about a direct flight but that's not possible out of Omaha.

Because DFW is American Airlines main hub and they control the pricing out of here. I have looked at flying out of Austin before and it connects to the exact same flight at DFW for $75-$80 cheaper. Explain that one to me?
