You won't find Southwest on any website but Southwest. It's always been that way. We'd kill for $350 or $450 flights. Lucky to get under $600 each unless we would like to layover and spend 12-18hrs flying to CUN. We fly United direct every time, the extra $100 a person is worth it for the peace of mind not having to clear customs in a random place and keeping our flight times to under 6hrs.
We got AirTran for our flight out of Denver for our May trip and they were the best flight and crew we have had in along time. It was off Cheaptickets.com and the flight was actually Funjet. I hope Southwest doesn't mess it up. Would fly them again because they kick Frontier Airlines out of Denver's Butt! Debbie
The only bad thing about United from SFO is, from what I have seen, that all of their non-stops arrive late afternoon. I wish they did a non-stop redeye so you could have the whole first day to play.
True, but the direct flights from CUN depart at 5pm, so you get almost a full day the last day you are there rather than flying out in the morning. Bonus about getting in late and leaving late is the airport is relatively quiet so Immigration lines go quick. United has started to offer Fri night red-eyes, we are booked on one with a LAX connection on the way down and arrive at 6:30am for our Sept trip. Never seen CUN red-eyes before, just started offering them.
