We loved La Parrilla and yes it's downtown.

On our honeymoon 11 years ago we were sent there from BBG for a our "night off the resort meal".

Last year we celebrated our 10th at TTR and asked about La Parrilla again.
Alfredo set our group of 6 up with a van so we could ride together, also went by the restaurant and made reservations for our group.

    It was awesome again!
Romantic..well not super romantic, but enough for us and our group.

But the food was great, the service was tops, the margaritas were the tastiest we've had in Cancun. They had mariachi's come through twice during dinner.

Authentic Mexican Food at very good prices.

    Here's a couple of videos:

    Just our 2 cents worth.

We are getting our group together to go back again next month to celebrate our 11th anniversary!

congratulations guys :) Our 1st Year Anniversary is on 1st June. After much deliberation I've decided on the moonlight beach dinner at TTR. Think the romance factor will be where I want it to be then! Lol. May try La Parillda another night thought as sounds and looks awesome. Thanks for all you're help ladies and gents! This time.in 2 weeks, we'll be cruising at 36,000 feet on our way :D So excited x

Hi and congrats on your anniversary. I see people talking about the moonlight dinner at TTR but where is the info for that (cost, resevations, etc.)

    Thanks.

Have fun! The margaritas are very good, and kicked my arse. We really enjoy going to the old part of Cancun for an evening away from the hotel. Going with a group of six would be awesome.

It is a great authentic Yucatan style restaurant. We went with locals and discovered there was a different priced menu. It was good food, huge portions at crazy prices.

There isnt much info online really hence i posted a thread here but i've also had some e-mails back from Jeanette, one of the Guest Staff at TTR. It's $160 per couple and you have a choice of 3 dishes. It's set on the beach near the Asian Wok. I'm booking when we arrive, she doesnt have a clue and i'm so excited. Have a few surprises planned for her on our Anniversary. :):aktion031:
