Some of this is repeated from the other thread - sorry - I'm still tired 5/1: Landed Cancun 9:30am, longest part of wait was for baggage to come out to carousel. Green light! Avoided all the time share people in the airport and headed right out to find USA Transfers. Waited maybe 5 minutes and we were on the road. Our driver was awesome, super friendly and fun so was a great ride. Got to hotel by 10:30am so room wasn't ready. Went to buffet for a bite to eat. Changed clothes, walked around pool but didn't recognize anyone from CCC so went to beach since there were lounge chairs available out there. Top came off right away - didn't spend that money on the boobs for nothing!! lol Was laying out, face down when Rome says "There's a monkey man!" From his posts, I'm sure many of you can share my "fear" of what I may see when I looked up - but it was a guy with a little monkey for pictures (Peemoney mentioned him in another thread ). Got up to go to the bathroom and see if I could find anyone from CCC and found Reddog first, then Edward-Alli and Scottydog/Jamie and it was a steady stream from there out! Realized it was because I was wearing a hat earlier and everyone was looking for my hair! OOPS!! Got "raped" by soap in the foam party lol Must have my daughter's "illness" and have an aversion to bubbles - it was funny but didn't stay in long. Ate at Seafood restaurant with 2 other couples. Was very nice to have company. Food was pretty good. Portion sizes are small but that's actually nice in my opinion. Rome needed more food so we went to the buffet after dinner lol Got hit on VERY nicely that evening by one of the Canadian Bach party guys - such a sweet kid! DJ was "meh" but I already knew to set the bar low based on the forum discussions. Swam in sports pool with our buddies after Paty O's shut down - hilarious! One of our buddies: "Sesso, sesso!!!" while "riding" her boyfriend (not actually doing anything) Security: "Senora! NO sesso!" She also MAY or may NOT have thrown her bottoms at him...:ass: 5/2 Friday - we were so excited when we got here, we failed at dodging the sales people and booked the tour. Don't even act like any of you are surprised that we bought after only being here for 24 hours! Hush! lol My main regret is it did blow most of the day and that was a gorgeous day of sun However, I have also now tried to price comparison "book" trips since getting home and I'm having some issues seeing the value. We are within our 5 business day cancellation period so I'm going to be making some phone calls today. We may or may not be keeping it. I'd really love for it to work out because it was nice having the perks BUT it really needs to be cost effective for us at this point. :huh: Ate at Asian Wok and were given special "welcome" appetizer and a bottle of champagne. Rome also ordered two meals (sushi meal and a shrimp dinner) so we could try to avoid the buffet. I'm pretty sure we managed to avoid it The salmon from the premiere section was AMAZING! White Night was fun, LOTS of people dressed in white. Didn't stay very late because we wanted to be rested for the BC! 5/3 Saturday - Boobs Cruise! Need I say more? Lots of fun. Rain could have skipped us but oh well! It is what it is! Went to Margaritas during snack time - we didn't realize they had a snack time without a real "menu" so we ended up at the buffet again, which was good as always - HUGE shrimp! I had shrimp with every lunch and dinner the whole time I was there. I miss my shrimp! lol Took a nap after dinner. School girl night - lots of compliments on my outfit and Rome also got compliments on his tie with no shirt Hung out with some friends on their balcony near Paty O's so we got to experience a room near Paty O's 5/4 Sunday - rain rain go the BLEEP away!! We went to Mercado 28. Interesting. Won't likely go there again but was good to experience once. Had sensual massage at resort spa. Froze our asses - ok boobies - off in the Sexy Pool but were with great people so it was worth it Had dinner with Edward-Alli at the buffet for Mexican night - more yummy shrimp We were late getting to Sheer Night because I was scared to go out practically naked and freeze to death! I started the night without panties in the little blue outfit posted but just felt too naked. Went back to put on a barely there thong and the temp had gone up so that was nice! I got to leave my hoodie in the room. 5/5 Monday - Our last day Weather was a bit sketchy early morning but by 10am it was beautiful!! Alli, Adam and I combined forces for Trivia and won Rome participated in Mr. Temptation and also won. He was the first one for the "sexy dance" round and was quite responsive to the calls to "TAKE IT OFF!" lol Ah, Rome... We stayed at the pool until almost 8pm, meeting new friends, making it even more sad to be leaving the next day :cry: Squeezed in a dinner at Margaritas - take a guess?? Shrimp fajitas Totally exhausted since we didn't nap and had been in the sun drinking all day so we only made it out for a bit for men's white shirt night, especially since we also had to be up around 6am to pack and get ready to leave :cry:Said good-bye to as many of our friends as we could and went to bed. 5/6 Tues - Good thing we set the alarm because even going to bed before midnight, we would have missed our pick-up! Got packed and checked out just in time for breakfast to open so we got to see our regular breakfast waiter one more time And now we are back with our kids! lol
Thanks for sharing your trip report. This June will be our fourth trip and all four have been in June. We have met some great friends in the previous 3 years and can't help but to go back every year. Curtis
FYI - you can not cancel your membership without forfeiting your deposit. So whatever you paid the resort so far will be lost - Good TR!
There is a 5 business day cancellation with refund, per the contract. After 5 business days, no refund. "In the event that Member wishes to terminate this contract despite the absence of breach...five days from first business day after signing of this contract, SELLER...will then return the amounts paid up to that moment by MEMBER as an initial investment...without any financial penalty." I was a real estate agent in NC and time shares are a big deal law suit wise up there so we were trained to specifically pay attention for cancellation clauses. If something happens and we can't cancel/I am still drunk and misreading/etc., we are looking at it as a break-even type situation - but we came home (literally - email sitting in my inbox) to bad news about the house we rent out in NC SOOOO not the best time for this type of purchase All the more reason to NEVER come back from vacation AGAIN! EDIT: OK, so - my women's intuition was dinging during the wristband switch but I didn't say/ask anything - that invalidates the 5 day cancellation clause. So if you purchase BUT keep the red wristband for the first 5 days, then you can cancel in those 5 days AND get a refund of your full down payment (I do believe you loose the $400 closing costs). As soon as you switch to the Premier wristband, you are basically saying "I love this and there's no way I want any money back!" so all bets are off. We really kept going back and forth about cancelling all last night and this morning even before we heard back from them so not a biggie. They did adjust our contract for us and refund some of our down payment and just build it back into our balance. We really did enjoy being Premier for the 4 days!
Hope you figure it all out. We spent hours back & fourth with timeshare people trying to figure out how we could benefit. And we couldn't. It wasn't for us. But there are people who love the Premier. Good luck. Happy to hear you had an amazing trip. You should come at the end of July one year !!
