How do you know what you can have if it keeps changing? Like you said for this week it's for everyone but not next week? How do you find out for your week?
I bring Crown myself from time to time. They usually have Jim Beam back there. In the hot sun, Jim Beam and Coke isn't ... bad. Not so great, but not bad. You won't find a decent scotch though. I don't do scotch myself, I'm a bourbon/whiskey guy, but my buds drink scotch and their pretty serious about it. Never heard any of their labels (the usual Glens... etc.) talked about at TTR's bar.
The alcohol choices remain a mystery as they have some items sometimes and others other times - it's not consistent. Sky is offered for all guests, it's not a Premier only choice Absolut is the Premier members only vodka. Problem is sometimes they have Sky sometimes they don't - they have Smirnoff always.
As much as I love Crown it is my Kryptonite if I am not careful Think I'll stick to my Margaritas...and beer after they eat a whole in my stomach. Btw, Crown doesn't make me do weird shit...sobriety does, lol.
As a premier member you would know more than me but in October the only place I could get sky was at the premier bar at the sexy pool. On another note, I get very upset anytime Absolut is called a good vodka and how that is considered premier is beyond me . I write this as I wrap bottles of grey goose and pack them for our trip next week by the way.
Our vodka of choice is KetlOne - I think Pearl has GG on the shelf at the Hot Tub - just have to call it. Don't fall victim to marketing - These are both VERY GOOD reads to enlighten you on the power of marketing. 21-Vodkas tested in a blind test - Smirnoff wins. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/26/dining/26wine.html?_r=0 Sidney Frank - The Man Behind Grey Goose Vodka
You showed me that before. I like grey goose and I don't have headaches the next day. A win win. Next time we run into each other I want the taste test!
