    Hello all,

I will post my full trip report later, however I thought this might be helpful.

On 4/15 we held an informal meet n greet at the cigar lounge. For those of you who don't know, the cigar lounge is the batcave of Temptation: hard to find, lit with mood lighting, but nicely apportioned otherwise, with a fountain, seats, tables, etc.
    Pro's for the cigar lounge:
    1. Secluded
    2. Private bathrooms
    3. Spacious
    4. Easy to set up
    5. Near guest rooms in 4000&5000 series

    Cons:
    1. Prohibitively expensive to rent officially
    2. Hard to find (also a pro, depending, lol)
    3. Not set up with regular bar service
    4. Poor ventilation (gets hot with a lot of people up there)
    5. Road side view

All in all, our meet n greet went well, with about 40 attendees who all conversated amongst themselves before migrating to paty O to continue the party. I would recommend doing something like this each week on Tuesday, maybe at the sports bar as that is always open/staffed. In addition to meeting new CCC members we recruited some new members for CCC and made some good connections better. Maybe a meet n greet roll call similar to the monthly roll calls or like the Boobs Cruise, as a way to bring "newbies" more fully into the repeater fold. Please feel free to comment below with your suggestions or thoughts on the viability of an event like this. Thanks!

We both agree with your assessment, without the bar service you have to know ahead of time what to bring. The sports bar would be a good place for the M&G although you may not get to use all the AIWC if security wanders by. See ya next time!

Matt, I think either location this is a great idea. We all communicate on this forum, some have pics, some don't. But in actuality it is very hard to put the names/screen names to a face when you get to the resort. A Meet & Greet like this is a great way to go around and introduce yourself towards the beginning of your trip and connect to those that you have only have seen through a 1x1 photo.
Great job, looking forward to seeing more like this in the future.
    Paul

Last year our Last week of March group would meet almost every afternoon at the cigar lounge. It is hard to find the first time(a plus)but it was a great way to meet CCC people you missed that day at the pool or people that just flew in. Also was a great time to introduce people not in CCC circle we had meet at the resort

The big down side was no bar..a few of the men spent time running back to the bar for refills(large cups are a plus) for everyone. One afternoon the ladies had a swimsuit photo shoot thanks to our amature photographers in the group

Hopefully last week June Junkies can carry this on while we are there

We agree that the cigar lounge location is perfect except the lack of bar service. During Octoberbreast we rented it out for a toy exchange and had the bar staffed with a full bar. They charged us $10 a person per hour and I paid upfront and then collected from the 20 people that were in the toy exchange. The catch was people told their friends and others heard the commotion and before you knew it we had way more than 20 people up there. Of course then TTR tried to charge me $10 a person for each of these extra people I didn't even know. So it turned a fun experience into a stressful one as I (not TTR) had to try to collect from the random attendees or just pay myself. If we do it again then I would insist TTR have a guard at the door if they really want more money for randoms. Ttr seems to have difficulty thinking outside the box and supporting anything outside the normal daily plan :(
