That's happened to me before, now for at least the week before I mass up on multi-vitamins, probiotics, and airborne and keep taking it thru the trip. Seems to have made a difference.
Oh NO!!!! I'm so sorry to hear that!!! Definitely packing extra of everything now!!!! Already have two damp rid bags in the suitcase plus allergy meds, decongestant, Greens that are on steroids (vitamins, probiotics, you name it), electrolytes. Airplanes tend to jack me up with the pressurized germs so my fingers are crossed! I HATE this happened to you Hope you are feeling better and glad you got to enjoy some time!
Hope you are feeling better Donald ... I still have that cough that I can't shake as well .. tiem to go to teh doc i think ... feel better soon!
I would think TTR would do something about this long ongoing problem with the room air quality, it's been 4 years since we have been there and that was a problem then .Wake up management!!
if it truly air quality , every resort would have the same problem. Air is blasted , then shut off when room is vacant then back on.. Some resorts have AC,s run by your room key , so cycling is even worse Some swear by bring a can of Lysol and spaying the intake of the air while on Can't hurt We come from a dry cool climate into a hot humid climate , it is a shock to our system. there seemed to be a few more this year, short of bring a CSI team in we will never know.
I do have problems at all hotels in cancun area. That is why I think it is allergy/mold related. But TTR is worse for me. I am going to bring a nedi pot this time too. Going to Desire from TTR so we will see how I do.
:icon_lol: (I need a little guy that's holding his belly, rolling on the ground! That's some funny $hi.. right there!) And we live in a humid climate and since we moved here from NC, we have had Damp Rid bags hung RELIGIOUSLY around the house. We are in a BRAND new Energy Star house (so, sealed as tightly as a house can be sealed, allegedly) and we have one in my each bedroom closet, one in our room (we were being bad about leaving the master bedroom door open during showers and EVERYONE showers in our room, even the kids - that's a LOT of moisture - that one will go away once we get in the habit of closing the dang door), one in the pantry (just to handle the main living space moisture), one in the broom/vacuum/backpack/swim bag closet, one in the laundry room...that may be it. Point is - humidity kills! lol Ok, that's an exaggeration but these bags have QUITE a bit of water in the bottom sections after only a week or two and it hasn't even gotten humid here yet - I can only imagine what a hotel room, where they likely have to clean carpet nastiness from time to time, people leave wet towels around, rain gets in when doors are left open, etc. etc. in an area that is completely surrounded by water must be like air moisture content wise. Oh, I put one in my car, too lol (Helps with the workout bag/shower towel situation). We are only coming for 5 days so I'll happy to pass our bags on to others when we leave since I'm sure they will just be getting going by the morning of the 6th! We'll even be nice and give them to you before bed
On my second round of Cipro. has anyone seen a doctor? I am getting better every day , but really slow but steady
Guys its a virus...cold air does not make you sick viruses do. Someone has a virus they cough on something you touch what they coughed on and rub your eyes noes or mouth and then you get sick. You can't be Canadian and think cold air causes infections. All off Canada would be dead after this winter.
