How much smoking is there at TTR?

This question has been sitting in the back of my mind ever since, when browsing various pictures, I noticed a few shots where people had cigarettes in hand. Certainly not a lot but I did notice it more than a few times.

Recently, a post mentioned a lot of smoke in one of the bars. So, is smoking allowed in the bars and restaurants? Do a lot of people smoke by the pools? On the Boobs Cruise?

I don't want to start a smoker/non-smoker war but I've been spoiled by the sweeping non-smoking policies being enforced pretty much everywhere in the U.S. - to the point where I'm surprised and annoyed when I do encounter second-hand smoke.

I'm now a little worried that this might be an issue for me if I decide to go to TTR. Any other smoke-sensitive people have a problem there?

Yeah I'm fairly allergic to smoke, literally, and thought it wasn't a problem so I'm worried after Donald's post. But, we go in 2 days so nothing I can do about it now but cross my fingers and hope I don't get super sick!

 

Pattyo is an outdoor. Smoking is allowed. Smoking in the restaurants is not allowed. And there is a smoking area on the cruise.

Strangely I cannot stand cigarettes and how bad they smell. But I smoke cigars and. The smell from a cigar has never bothered me.

 

To keep it brief and positive, we greatly appreciated that some people had the courtesy to utilize E-cigarettes while vacationing with others.

Now, back to the boobies. Gawwddddd, I miss the boobies!!!!!!

 

Personally we felt like there was quite a bit of smoking compared to other resorts we have been to. As mentioned though, it's not in the restaurants but you will smell smoke a lot around the sexy pool and at patio and on the beach.

 

We are both pretty sensitive to smokers, and have never had a problem.

 

I am a smoker and I hate smoking in restaurants or enclosed space, the smell and burning eyes bother me. I have been Trying the e-cigs but do need a real one once in awhile, especially when drinking,

 

well currently im a smoker. I usually step away from others to indulge. there are plenty of places to step back away from everyone, but there will still be some who don't. if someone is smoking its pretty easy to just go around them. but yea pari os can get smokey, sometimes to the point that I wont even go have one. but mostly I have seen people walk away to have them.
