Bachelor Party At Temptation- Looking for tips,expectations,etc.

Each and every year one of these bachelor threads pop up....Never judge one group based on another or past groups...Condemnation should not come to every group of guys before they even make the trip...

Man, this is really starting to get silly. I know that there have been some problems caused by some (and a small number at that) of guys travelling together. Honestly it is disturbing to see the first reaction that many people seem to have towards them (by extension us, since I am a single guy myself), I'd almost call it toxic sadly. Hell it's gone from a friendly hello to him wanting to change the reservation.

I just got back and there was a group of guys (4 or 5) there on a bachelor party and got along great with everyone. In 22 days I saw only one scuffle in Paty O's, one guy was creeping on some ladies that I was aware of at the end of my trip and he was either alone or there with a wife, not sure which.

Another interesting group is there right now, they call themselves 'Team T n T'. I know some of them are lifestyle folks, not sure if all of them are. Regardless I call many of them friends. the only thing that I personally wish they didn't do is to have a 'uniform' (same colours, logo etc) by the pool during the day and hanging a flag out there during the day. Personally I think it segregates the pool a bit. again for the most part these people are friendly and happy to talk to anyone, just a minor quibble on my part.

At the end of the day, just because a group of guys wants to come to TTR and have fun it shouldn't be met right off the bat with skepticism and borderline contempt.

And rant over lol!

 

I totally agree. I went with another single buddy and had a great time. Met singles, couples and married couples. Everyone was great to us and I have made some great new friends. If your a single guy and have an open mind, you won't have anything to worry about. I have been to palace resorts, oasis and hard rock, I honestly will say Temptation is the only resort I will go back to- single or in a relationship.... Though I prefer to go single lol

 

Reading through this thread over the past few days had me a bit apprehensive of the choice my best friend and I made by booking here. We want to be around fun people who know how to have a great time, but both of us being single didn't think we were heading to a Sandals type couples only resort. We were hoping to come across single men during our week of vacation. Hopefully all the single ones haven't been scared away now LOL, and I am so looking forward to what her and I will have to talk about once we are back. I'm more excited to recall all we did in our 7 day stay saying "Can't believe I or WE did that!!!" As with any place with groups of people, there will always be a bad apple, but can't let that spoil the whole bunch. Looking forward to making a tonne of friends

 

Don't read too much what some may say. They are just talking about large groups of single men that sometimes gets out of hand and I have seen large groups of single men that also behaves themselves also. There will always be a couple that ruin it for the rest. There will be plenty of single men as the ratio is 10 to 1 usually. There are alot of couples but most are acceptable of single men and women. I remember a couple years ago a couple single women showed up not knowing what to expect when they saw alot of couples but our group took them under our wings and by the time they left they had tons of new friends and said it was one of the best vacations they had. Trust me you will be saying "I can't believe we did that". Just go let loose and you will no doubt meet many friends that you will want to come back next year to see them all. I go single and now this is my 5th year coming back at this time of year. I know alot going at this time and sure I will meet many new ones this trip.

 

During my stay a large group of single Brits were there and totally behaved. The only problem was on my last night there was guy a single guy who came on his own that got a little drunk and was getting out of hand with all the girls in the group that ended up taking me in to their group. After I had a good chat with him he disappeared. So large group or single guy, there will always be "that guy." I went single and left with 25 new friends.

 

Uh-oh!!! We registered on the CS site at the suggestion from someone on this site. We aren't in the LS, but they said there were great tips(resort wise). Many people going during our stay are on that site as we'll and we are trying to get to know as many folks as possible prior to the trip. Maybe Single Guy was doing the same? Now for my opinion on this particular topic: I say give the guy a chance-don't judge him based on the actions of others. The posts in here seem to be split between giving him a chance and already condemning him. Being harassed by a group of single guys looking for action was a concern if mine during the planning stages of our trip. I have read enough of others topics dealing with the single guy situation to be comfortable with it because you guys have been so assuring in the fact that if the situation were to arise of a guy getting out of hand with the ladies it is taken care of quickly, either by security or members. I think this particular guy had had plenty of forewarning. Now he should just be welcomed and given the opportunity to enjoy the trip. On an end note, the CS site really does have great tips-- from what to bring, wear, and things to do. I really enjoy their laid back humor when they assure non LS people that they won't " attack" them!! I'll probably be a bit disappointed if I don't at least get a little solicited cause they seem like great people!!!

IMO, this entire thread, including the OP, is BS. Maybe I'm wrong.......lol..........but something seems fishy.........lol.

Can't wait to party with EVERYONE in about 2 weeks!!!

We get there after the lads will have left, I prefer if it was the bachelorette party anyway
