Heres a question for the OP ..... Do the wives , girlfriends significant others of the guys who are going KNOW where they plan on going ?? And have they researched what goes on at the resort ??

 

Don't worry, be respectful have fun, there is water activities like jet sking, hobie cats, volleyball. You will have fun.
A big no-no is no taking creaper pictures of topless women, especially around the sexy pool, you may end up with a black eye and your camera or Phone thrown into the ocean. Alot of people have private lives and dont need to be seen on you tube or facebook.

We had fun with several single guys last year, wife had a ball with a group of gay guys as well. So there is fun stuff but just be respectful and ask for permission from both the lady and man before taking a grope or body shot.

 

There was a couple of people (trolls) that started a heated discussion Which later they admitted was just a college project they did.

 

About a month ago, a couple of guys were posting on the forum, intentionally causing problems and opposing the "general opinion" of the group - allegedly for a college project, as it turned out in there last few posts. We have no idea if that was true. Came out when the forum owner got suspicious about some of the posts from two different posters and checked IP addresses and they were the same, therefore, caught coming from same location yet pretending not to know each other.

Made some similar comments about doing lots of research but then asked questions that really are answered at great length in many many many threads; contradicted "herself" (was pretending to be a woman) lots between posts; all that super fun troll type stuff. She didn't have a picture at all; you do at least have one in your profile, though my super suspicious husband isn't convinced it's not a stock photo from the net but that's him.

Most of the people on this forum go to TTR to socialize and make friends so we are quite open and "honest" as much as each person is comfortable being (I personally score about 100% on openness on the NEOPIR inventory from a totally geeky perspective, which all the regulars already know about me - I'm super open and super geeky). Therefore, most people are going to call newbies out if anything seems off because this forum is like a safe haven to discuss what many refer to as Mecca.

Some people just come on here to laugh and poke fun and keep in touch with the crazy fun people they met and aren't as worried about the other stuff.

Some people just read and don't really ever post.

Like CanadianDosEquis said about the comments, you have to take everything with a grain of salt. But realize, some people are not going to trust a new poster that is reportedly going to arrive at TTR barely over one week from first post, during one of the busiest times of the year, that says they've done lots of research but then asks questions that are answered on the forum on a daily basis. I was new once, too, very recently! So don't get me wrong! Ask away - but also, try to use the search feature to find some of your answers. It may help boost your "street cred," if you really give a $#it. And it's ok if you don't! Because that's part of TTR, too. "No one knows you, no one give a shit."

Confused yet? You shouldn't be Point is:
1 - grain of salt
2 - trolls eff with us on here frequently so we also take newbies with a grain of salt
3 - just have fun, don't stress about it so much, you're gonna give yourself a damn heart attack
4 - grain of salt

I didn't realize temptations was a high end country club with a bunch of judge mental assholes. Really. Talk about ruining someone's trip. You pretty much have it in his head now to shut the fuck up, keep your head down and not have a good time. Is he allowed to do anything or should he get permission from everyone for every thought while he is there. Seriously.

Lots of nudity? Nope

Oh it gets a bit risque, a bit silly, but unless you're a bible thumping pastor from a small town its all very harmless fun.

Just come and have some fun. I think you've been *lectured* enough and if that was me being talked to like that (so rude you guys/girls) I would have cancelled. You all haven't even met this group of fellas yet and you're passing judgement based on another group! The man asked a simple question and he's taking the brunt for the whole group.
