Alpharooms Issues?

    Has anyone ever had any issues booking with Alpharooms? We booked April 4th (for July) and they have taken the $10 for booking, but still haven't confirmed our trip yet. We are getting a little concerned that the hotel/flights won't be available. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or has a phone number for them? We are in the US and they just give an international number. :huh:

    Don't deny us our vacation Alpharooms!

    Lots of people use them here, and very few ( I haven't heard any) complaints

    ???thought you were supposed to pay the balance 30 days out ?????

    Well that's what we thought too, but our reservation still says "pending" on it. They send the initial information and said they would confirm within 72 hours and that was 3 weeks ago. As long as we have reservations we are happy!

    Did you pay in full or split your payment.
    That could be the pending part.

    Also if your credit card is not setup to do international payments you my need to get a hold of your provider and have them allow the charge to go through.
    Then have AlphaRooms resend the payment request.
    This is the issue we had when using AlphaRooms, not their fault at all.

    I'd use them again for sure.

    Oh gosh, we didn't even think about the international payments. Hopefully we can get a hold of them quick, I'm sure it's an easy fix!

    Just about around that time we also booked the our October trip, but we did get confirmation back though, dis u use your bank account??

    Use your credit card, that's what we did.

    Credit Card will work.... ran into this issue last year or our first time (cant remeber) with the bank holding the payment since it was an international purchase and they charge extra for this too. Credit Cards are much easier... just pay this off right away :-D

    Well we are a little confused because we just called our credit card company and we already had international purchases ok'd and they have only charged the $10 and not tried the first 1/2 of the payment. Hopefully there's room at the resort or airline availability! Thanks for the responses, we are very flexible in dates so if we do have to reschedule we are happy to do it through Alpharooms.
