Hi Everybody, we are first time visitors to Temptation (and to Cancun for that matter) and we will be there 5/16-5/22. Any advice on what to expect, what to bring, what to wear, what to do, what not to do, what to avoid, etc. is welcome. We do know that we are doing the Boobs Cruise on 5/19 but that is as far as we have planned. When do we make dinner reservations at the resort restaurants? All advice is welcome and subject to the bullshit filter. LOL It's my wife's 50th birthday and I want to make the best ever. :aktion030:
Well you have come to the right website, im sure you will get a ton of advice from members like myself that have been going for ages, there are a bunch of threads you can check out in the mean time and if you have questions, feel free to send me a message and I will do my best to answer as many I can .
Welcome to the Party!!! Guido & Blondie!!! See U at the Sexy Pool on the 16th!!:headbanger::headbanger::headbanger:
I'm sure you'll get plenty of bullshit, too! BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Couldn't resist! The Jersey girl in me really only caught that part of your post.
Come without expectations and with an open mind. Avoid the timeshare vampires. Leave with great memories Check out your theme nights for May and yes, there's a lot of CCC folks at that time of year so there will be good participation. Check out Yandy.com for outfits for the Mrs. Pick at least one thing she'll never wear in public and it's probably still too much material once she's there (I think most ladies feel they're over-dressed once they are there for the first time) Plan on doing lingerie night, guys and girls, enough drink and even the shyest participate it seems You're going to have an awesome time
Well, we aren't exactly wallflowers. That's why we are coming to Temptation and going on the Boobs Cruise. Unfortunately, we arrive on a Friday and leave on Thursday so we won't be there for lingerie night. My wife was bummed (so was I) about that. She is well equipped in that department.
So much advice can be found by reading through the various Trip Reports as well as the first few pages of the forum. 1) Plan for the Sun - get your pre-tanning in, lucky for you are are in Redding so sitting out on a few weekends should suffice. Bring sunscreen, apply it liberally multiple times a day. 2) Bring a hat or two for you and the wife 3) Bring a few hundred in $1's and $5's for tips 4) Dress for the party - wedges over heels as the flooring is slick 5) Book your transfer through USA Transfers or Canada Transfers (cabs are expensive) 6) Theme night shopping? Do dress up for white-night (Friday), the rest of the nights are hit or miss 7) Call your alcohol and ask for lime with your beer 8) Be friendly, don't be a creeper & have a great time!
Get up early and reserve 4-6 chairs around the pool. If you keep asking for towels the first day you can make it happen. If you put them on opposite sides of the pool you will be assured premium sun at any time of day!!
So, especially on "Anything Goes" night, how far is too far for a lady's dress. Is a totally sheer dress with nothing on under it okay or too much? If it's too much, what are the limits of "exposure"?
Anythign Goes night is more of a night where there is no theme - hence "anything goes". Party starts in Nice Shoes for a 1hr team based contest. Then moves to Paty'O's. If it's "sheer night" theme for the CancunCare forum folks, you might see 15-20 other women dressed up in "sheer" or as little as 3-5. Sometimes participation is good. 380 rooms, maybe 20% of those folks on CancunCare - see your roll call. If your wife is comfortable - she can wear whatever she wants - a nice pair of panties might be appreciated by Security though and also if she wants to sit down. Temptation is not Desire.
