I noticed that the May boobs cruises are selling out quickly. I have posted on the thread for the dates that we are going on the 19th and 25th as soon as the dates were posted. My question is...if we've already posted on the thread that we are going, what happens if we can't get to a computer quick enough to pay for the deposit? Do we lose our spots?
I would think you would lose your spots. I know there were a few people that were upset about not getting on the cruise they wanted and they were put on stand by.
Is there are secret to getting the notifications for the dates? We want to get on the bat signal list so we can make sure the dates we are there don't sell out!
Posting on the dates threads really just gives Steve and others an idea of level of interest. Until you sit with your finger hovering over the mouse key when deposits open nothing is guaranteed. On the bright side it looks like Steve is doing a great job of gauging when people will be going and booking a few more trips at peak times
The dates post is just an interest gauge and nothing more. Jamie and Steve have that explained in several spots. Steve will PM you based on listing yourself on the interest/date announcement thread.
I wish there is way a that we could pre-pay for the dates we want if they are in the same month. I know this would put a burden on Steve but it sure would give us peace of mind knowing we are guaranteed a spot on the cruise.
Technically, we are. It's just that certain times of the year are busier so they pre-sell quicker. Even if he had opened them a few weeks ago, they still would sold out as soon as he opened them or within approximately the same amount of time. Only solution is another boat but not really a solution since then you lose Steve and the same crew.
