Not to hijack, but what exactly are the "oceanview" rooms? We've been to TTR 2x now and always booked a "deluxe room". This year it was 10$ cheaper for the oceanview room (some kind of sale or something). Personally we don't care what room we get as long as the door doesn't immediately sit beside the dj booth/band stage at pati-o's like our first trip. I swear the band was at the foot of the bed every night rockin out.
One agent is quoting quite a reasonable price for an upgrade to a Jacuzzi room. Where are these? I'd not want to book one finding myself sleeping next to the sexy pool!
We're flying with Virgin this year after an awful experience with Thomas Cook last year (I believe we met you actually ) I wasn't aware of the departure tax thing...So if you fly with Virgin, you don't have to pay it as it's included in the flight price yes? Like you say, one less thing to have to say you're money for! Great news for us! Thanks
