We just got home from TTR and already we are planning our next trip. Our 10 year anniversary is coming up in September and we are thinking of either heading back to TTR or trying a clothing optional resort Like Desire or Desire Pearl. Besides the price, what is the difference between the two Desire resorts?
We went to Desire Cabo just before they closed and loved it. We are now hooked on the clothing optional (optional being the key word). It is adults only and couples only.
We went to Desire RM last Nov, & loved it. The RM property is smaller than Pearl, but there was a lot of Pearl guest at RM for the foam party. I wonder Y. wink wink. Going back this Nov after spending Halloween at TTR.
Actually the two properties are about the same physical size at approx 4.9 Acres each. The difference is that Pearl is narrow with only 440 ft of beach frontage but quite deep beach to road with fewer buildings and only 88 rooms wereas Desire RM is very wide with 615ft of beach frontage but not so deep beach to road with many more buildings and has 114 rooms.
We feel that Pearl is more upscale. In fact it has to be the most upscale CO resort anywhere . Pearl is a little more laid back but still very very fun and sexy . The hot tub at Pearl is much bigger and nicer in our opinion . It's also ground level. We are now twice a year visitors to Pearl after being so impressed.Both are good fun just a little different.
