You tip the check in staff to get a good room?? That is good info. I heard the tip for a good room would range between $50 to $100 at check in. I was just wondering if anyone else tipped, and how much to get a good room. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those were summarized responses from previous posts. Not necessarily mine I go in April and Halloween , the resort is sold or usually almost. you get the room that is available,, a tip may get you a better room ( not an upgrade) on the second day as one become available If they gave you an upgrade for 50-100 dollars there would be no more upgradable rooms available , not to mention they could loose their job. By a good room I mean , where ''you want it'',, ie quiet , or by Patio's, same price.
Bottom line people is we all LOVE TTR, & LOVED the workers that make our vacation kick ass. Tip what u feel, stare at others that don't, & throw in a Thank You 2 the staff once in awhile. They remember who treat them good.
We end up spending a lot on tips . We always tip the bar staff. Waiters/waitresses, house keeping . We always forgot are safe number or put the wrong number in when we have had a few so they get tipped when they come out . The last 2 times we have been we bought paty'os bar staff pizza 3 times in the 2 weeks we was there . That I put down to my fella being drunk and promising them ! But they do look after us . I wonder why ! And we bring t shirts over for the sexy pool staff!!!
