Go ahead and buy it! If you plan on being a repeater, it will be worth the purchase! I have so much in my closet now, shopping is less and less each year. The only reason I buy is if I need it to be more revealing! My first trip to TTR was my most conservative trip (and it wasn't THAT conservative). It's the only place I can dress like that and I LOVE IT Dawn
I kid you not, but Tabi has a closet fully reserved for stuff worn at TTR, only. That being said, if you end up being repeaters, no one will care if you wore the same outfit the year before. Wear whatever makes you happy!
We already know we want to go back next year I just feel guilty about leaving the kids 3 years in a row though I already told my husband that we would have to book again next year just so I could wear the bathing suits again lol The girls have their heart set on Disney in the next few years.... we really should be saving for that.... but Cancun keeps coming out on top haha Last year was the first time we ever went somewhere without the kids.... I was worried but let me tell you.... it was so wonderful to not have any major responsibilities for the week!!!! Well, other than getting my hubby back to the room after the Boobs Cruise It was the first time since I became a mom at 20, that I could focus on myself and being carefree.... I could sleep when I wanted, stay out as late as I wanted, drink as much as I wanted... you get the point My oldest 2 kids are 22 and 16 and then we have 2 little girls that are 6 and 4 so there has been no break. A week away from everything was so awesome! In fact, so awesome that we started pricing for this summer as soon as we returned! It was a great week for me and my husband to focus on eachother.... we rarely get that with all of the responsibilities at home.
You have to make time for yourselves. Curtis and I do a family vacation and at least one vacation just the two of us each year. I understand the kid issues. We have 5. They seem to do just fine when we are gone!! I think most of us are in the same boat. Dawn
This is exactly what we do. We have June to ourselves then take a family one later in the Summer. We feel the grown-up time is vital and he gets to spend time with the grandparents.
