Just wanted to share my good news with the group since I count you all as good friends - I handed in my notice today for a new job at another organisation. I'm sure a lot of you have heard me complaining about my job situation when i've had a few, about how unfairly I've been paid considering the stress and work I put in, with no credit when that effort helped to win lucrative contracts. After years of deliberation I've called it quits and will be starting a new challenge at another company in mid-May. Don't worry, I've already warned the new place I've got a vacation booked end on November that can't be changed - even if I end up taking the laptop with me and working from the beach! The extra cash I'm earning will help us to finally move house to a respectable neighbourhood next year and who knows, maybe that extra week at TTR in April or May 2015.
Well done Trish! It's sometimes scary leaving "the devil you know", but I'm sure you'll make a great go of this new challenge, and extra cash is always a bonus! :daisy:
