This's being your first trip you probably won't need a walmart side stop, you will waaayyyy over pack everything, lol. Just make sure you have Tylenol and tums with you lol. You will over indulge on everything.

Is the Walmart a full size store? I was thinking of buying a beach umbrella and chair there since I hear that all the pool chairs and shady spots are taken by 7 a.m. I'll just donate it to the resort when I leave. LOL

And while we are on the subject of things to buy at Walmart, are the beds at the resort made up using both a fitted sheet and a flat sheet or just the flat sheet that is tucked under the mattress? It drives me crazy when they don't use fitted sheets cuz the flat sheets always come untucked and then you end up lying on the bare mattress- Ewwhh. LOL Wandering if I should pack a fitted sheet or add that to my Walmart shopping list. Thanks

There's almost always a lounger with an umbrella available on the beach, as well as the canopy beds.

I like to get a couple bottles of liquor to have in the room for in between times, I also always try to find snacks like beef jerky or candy for the room and extra/better coffee and baby wipes come in handy for a lot different things down there.... and no, not all of them are bad haha some people have bought bug spray, some years the mosquitoes have been bad by some of the rooms ( personally only one year in over a decade has the mosquitoes been bad) but those are a few items myself and my friends have looked for over the years, Cigarettes are cheaper outside the resort as well, either across the street or at walmart

In regards to water, we usually leave a note in the mini fridge "por favor 5 agua" with a couple single dollars. Works most times! My only question about the Walmart is if they have a Pharmacia in it?

Not sure what you smoke, but we used to smoke Marlboro ( we both quit 2 months ago yesterday yaaa) and a carton was around $30 so average $3 a pack. But they seem to burn up twice as fast.

We had debated about doing a walmart trip. We concluded that since my TTR wardrobe is minimal, we had more than enough room for meds, sunscreen, and toiletries. :)
