LOL.................on our first trip years ago.....I remember the "walk"!to "Nice Shoes" for Lingerie night. I wore pasties, a g-string and 4" platform 8" heels...........and a smile. We got all sort of hoots and hollers on that walk of shame! By the time we got there It......I.....it was raining! I can't do that at home.......and most days wouldn't want to! But it's named Temptations for a reason! I just bet you're tempted!
I just ordered 3 Lingerie outfits from yandy.com.. hoping at least 1 works out for me for Lingerie night.. Getting excited for our coming up May trip!
I remember our first time at Lingerie night. It just felt so wrong to leave your room in only your Lingerie! Kinda like the bad High School dream where your not wearing any pants to class I remember laughing with my husband about hoping this was not some initiation hazing or something to see who would really show up dressed like that. But once we got down there it was amazing how fast I became comfortable. Best night at TTR! Just like someone said earlier, bring one outfit you think you'll dare wear, then bring the sexiest you one.
The way I see it you can always remove clothes if you choose so later.. If you dont have them with you you cant add things and I personally would rather feel comfortable then out of place with myself.. I guess not all of us are as confident at all times.. as the night goes on generally more clothes come off.. but to each and their own lol
Our first year there I was the FIRST lady to appear in Lingerie, we sat in Paty'Os for almost an hour before any other brave ladies came out, it was a VERY long hour for Don while I bitched and moaned. Fast forward, greatest night, had the best time! Live and learn!!!
Don't worry. Once you get there, it doesn't take long to get used to the lack of clothes. As every one says, take what you feel comfortable in, then take some items where you tell yourself, "there's no way I'd get caught dead in that thing!" That's the one you'll end up wearing by the end of the week.
I'm guessing you were at Paty'o's while everyone else was in Nice Shoes. I think the funniest thing about Lingerie night was watching the faces of some of the single guys that were in the lobby checking in, while about 300 people wearing Lingerie, paraded through the lobby on their way to Paty'os when Nice Shoes let out. I'm sure they thought they hit the jackpot. LOL.
