We heard the same thing, but it seemed to be told like it was joke, or like we were bein 'put on' so I didn't put much stock in the story. But the place always had good tunes (sure cure for a short detox from that incessant TTR shit) so maybe the metal band story was true.

Does anyone know why Temptation just doesn't offer free wifi? In today's world it seems odd not to have free wifi where ever I go...
the same reason as any other place that charges for it. Because they can. Besides, you're on vacation unplug for a few days! And heck, it's good for the kids to not have to hear from mom and dad everyday. Builds character!
Thanks! We'd love to play Temptation sometime. The bands I've seen there in the past were a bit boring and I could never understand why they booked bands that played classic rock or alt rock when people are there to dance. Yes they can charge for it, which is fine, but wow, $15 per day is insane. Just came home from a Resort in Dominican that charge $30 for 7 days and the wifi was strong and consistent. Its fine to charge but be fair about it. I think they charge an exorbitant amount so the free wifi for members looks like an even better deal than it is.
