Boardshorts or Men Square Cut Swimsuits?

Why does that rule only apply to men ?

 

Us women wander around the resort the whole time hardly wearing anything! So why can the men get away with wearing so much!! Look at my avatar! I think the square cuts are SEXY on my man!!

Raphael, i totally understand not wanting to be in the 10% who is wearing the square cuts. Its the same thing with women. If we were at a resort that had 90% of the women with their tops on and very few thongs, i don't think many women would wear some of the suits that they wear at TTR. This is just the reason you should come with the X crew in June and party with the June Junkies. Dawn and Curtis ($parkie7 on ccc) have set up theme days at the pool for the guys and the girls. The guys will be wearing square cuts for these days, and if last year is any indication, quite a few continue to wear them on the other days too. - Gerry

 

I'm old fashioned - I like having more the the imagination. I think that's also why I like bikini tops, besides being part of an outfit

 

I bring both and change what I wear day by day depending on how I feel. Truthfully I prefer the squarecut shorts for hanging around the pool. I just generally find them more comfortable to wear than the long boardshorts. I also carry a few pounds more than I like but at this stage of my life I don't really care what other people think when I wear them. My wife likes them so that's good enough for me.

 

Well we are coming with the X Crew for April (same crew as last year) and out of the 15 couples that came last year only 1 guy wore square cuts most of the time, I don't think things will be any different this year around.

 

We will be there the same time as you. I know of at least three guys (including myself) who will be wearing square cuts everyday. You won't be alone....in fact it seems that as the week goes by (each time we are at TTR) more and more guys wear them. I guess it's the safety in numbers thing.

 

I wore a pair in Jan for the first time ever, I felt so exposed but got over it, after a while and with some alcohol.

 

My wife took me to Walmart two years ago when we were there and picked out two square cuts. I was a little intimidated to wear them at first but then realized they were actually a lot more comfortable than the board shorts. So now thats about all I wear and will definitely be wearing them this year.
