Short of looking like Spicoli from Fast Times...... (nose/skin cancer runs in my family).... what hats are popular in Cancun these days? When we went 2 years ago, the Fedora's were VERY popular, however.... they don't provide much face protection. I could take a ball cap.... but those are oooooohhh so cute, right? Not!

Suggestions? For those that have been recently..... what's the style these days? Thx.

I wore a pink cowboy hat that I bought on the beach but I seen lots of fedora's and ball caps too.

    I was there in February.

Do women actually wear hats at TTR??? To be honest I think most men are looking at "other" things and really don't take much notice of anything else!!! LOL

Last summer the wife bought a wide-brimmed, straw "planter's" hat downtown, and it worked well. The most common look was the "distressed, straw, skinny cowgirl" hat. Very sexy with just bikini bottoms.

Yup, ratty, well travelled straw cowboy hat is the order of the day. Gets all scrunched up at the back from snoozing in the sun, and often gets a bit soggy being dipped in the Sexy Pool, but that just adds to it's character right?
Besides, I look like a boy in a baseball cap!

Would Playboy Bunny ears keep the sun off without leaving odd tan lines?

I have a cowboy hat I'm bringing and a regular baseball hat.. I've worn them in the past there, a lot of girls wear cowboy hats that they sell on the beach or in town etc.

At New Years (and even a few on Week 8) this year, many stylish babes were rocking really wide brimmed Sun hats. Like the ones the models wear during sexy pool fashion show.
