Thinking of booking for a 2nd trip to include Halloween . What can we expect for the weather around that time ?:ernaehrung005:artytime:
We went last year for Halloween week, the weather was pretty good, but we did have a few rainy days. We will be back again this October, so it couldn't have been that bad!!

We were there end of the October last year b4 Halloween, last week of October beginning of the week rained 3 day's strait, but then got better for the rest, I remember their was lot's of storms were developing at the time though, but we will be there for Halloween this year 4 sure, not missing it, don't care raining or whatever, will have fun anyhow.
We've did TTR twice in October and other resorts 3 times in Oct and experienced a total of around 2 hours of rain total..we were booked for Riu Cancun in 05 then Wilma hit..had to cancel and went to Jamaica instead
We were there last year for Halloween week 2013. The days were hot (85 - 90) and humid and the pool was a perfect temp (for us). It did rain a couple of days..... one day it rained very hard from dawn until dark and then it stopped and we had a great night (School Girl theme) outside that night at Paty'Os. The sun does go down early at that time of the year and by 4ish the sexy pool is completely in the shade. On some days, that resulted in us staying in the pool (keeping warm in the water, etc.) and having fun until after dark.
Rained so hard on our departure day , really did not think we were going to make it to the airport. Being in a USA van versus a cab/car made the difference. Overall 10 days , we had 5 good and 5 rain. The prices reflect that.
We went last October and it rained almost every day and every night...with breaks in between. I think there was one full day that we had sun. Although I have to say it probably would not keep us from going back another year in October. A rainy day in Cancun is better than a work day at home!
I think in the fall you have a chance of full day rain outs due to tropical systems. We went for a week early October last year. The day before we arrived there was a full day rain out due to a tropical system. But then it was very hot and sunny for 5 days after. And the last two days had the more typical weather for cancun, an hour or two of storms, nice the rest of the day. We like it hot so early oct was perfect for us. Sun still around later at the pool. Water still warm. We are going back in early oct again. Always a good idea to get trip insurance this time of year just in case. You save $50-100 a night and several 100 on flights so it makes sense to put 100-150 of that back into trip insurance in case the big storm, that shall not be named, comes during your trip.
