Ok, we are down to less than 5 days before we head to GOV, and we think we have most things figured out as far as packing, but there are a couple things that we need to reach out and get a better answer from all of you veteran GOV folks: 1) Bubba mugs. Are they a 'must', or will we be ok with the cups that the bars provide? I'm a beer drinker (with a beer gut to prove it) and my wife is more of a fruity-drink person, but she doesn't drink nearly as much as me. I'm afraid that I'll not pace myself as I should and end up shitfaced and in bed by 9:00 if I always have 34 oz of beer in my mug. If the cups that GOV provides for their beers are 12 oz, I think I'll be fine. 2) My team is in the "Sweet Sixteen" and was wondering if they have any TVs around that would show some of the NCAA games. I didn't even think of that. I was under the assumption that they used plastic throwaway cups. This influences the decision greatly! Thanks!
They do have a bar that will show the games. But if you guys spend your time watching TV there you will miss out on so much.
I was just wanting to peek in on my team towards the end of their game, IF I was not completely preoccupied. I'm hoping to be completely occupied!! I could care less about any other games!
Usually there are bottles of drinking water in your room. That what we use to clean them out nightly.
OK, so we're buying two 34-oz Bubba mugs, Orange color (for easier ID as CCC Members!) from Amazon prime. $12 buck apiece. Just wish we could have ordered the official CCC ones, but they won't be available by the time we leave. Thanks for the insight everyone!!
