So many good memories from that cruise. You really came out of your shell that day. The marker was a blast. You were a great sport and made the best cruise even better! And those girl piles on the net. Oh my oh my.

 

I finally made it through all 136 pages of this thread! Apparently, I need some more work to do if if I've been able to read it all at my job. HAHA. I can't wait till October! Yay!

 

Alright guys, alpharooms is running $138 a night right now for first week of October. I am hoping we can go this year. Not looking good at the moment work wise.

 

$138 is awesome! It was $221 as of Thursday.

It's still over $1600 for really ugly flights from here. I'm talking 14 hours of travelling with 2 or more connections.

As for flights I found that the flight prices in feb/march/April last year for October were the normal prices. Then in may/June they shot down from $700 each for us to $375 each. Seems like a supply demand thing. It just isn't as busy in early October so you pay less, hoping the same thing happens this year. But at $138 a night and refundable I will book the hotel and go from there.

 

So looks like we're gonna be headed to TTR for cheap this year! Because they overbooked our flight to Phoenix, we received free flight vouches. Free flight to Cancun what what?!?!

Hope everybody is having a great March, we are in Park City for P's Birthday week, enjoying some great spring skiing, but missing TTR!!!

We are going to do our best but have two factors going against us. Melissa's company may be splitting and she will have to take large pay cut until the new side can built back up. So losing income means cutting unnecessary expenses like vacations.

If they don't split, the government is implementing a new system for insurance billing codes and it goes into effect October 1st. So she may not be able to get off the first few weeks in October.

 

Good point on the refundable part. Melissa said go ahead and book and we'll hope for the best.
