Your message is pretty paranoid. If you are jealous or scared of your significant other talking to other people, this most definately not the place for you. If you want to communicate with and make new friends with adults of all ages, shapes, colors, classes, nationalities (OK, mostly Canadians and Americans), this is the perfect place. You will never know (for sure) who the swingers actually are. They know - they have a secret language or something. They will know you aren't before you get out of the taxi, so don't worry. The one thing I fear for you is that if you are a shy/reserved couple like we are to some extent, it may take a few days to make some friends to hang out with - at which point you are already going home. But we understand you. We split up our first trip also, not knowing if TTR would be a disaster for us or not. It turned out, our first night in our second resort we were calling TTR asking if we could get day passes to come back and hang out. One couple's experience. Goodluck, and for God's sake - relax.

You already knew, you weren't goin to Mecca, b4 you started this thread. And I sussed that out after your initial post. So riddle me this, who is the vague dishonest one, on this particular thread? Look hard in the mirror. As far as turning you off, I believe most newbies don't log in, on here, and ask insipid questions with an interrogative tone for aphrodisiac purposes. But it was already established you aren't like most. Please go and enjoy the scenery at the GOV. I hear they have some spectacular new signage for you to see.
LoL if I had a peso for everytime I heard about someone begging, to get to Mecca from another resort, I could pay for a day's wages for a new decent DJ.
Hit the Nail right on the head! There will be any number of people there, there will be different types of people there, you may arrive there, and have a more conservative crowd then usual, you may get there and have a "take over" (where swingers descend on a location for there recreation and play). You may arrive in a week where the right amount and type of people for YOU to have fun and relax are present, and you may arrive with the wrong types of people around to help you relax and let go are present. This place sounds like a mixed bag of people and situations. Not to mention; remember this Forum is geared for a certain type of person, we all here likely like to post comments, like to do research, we like to be social and make friends, we like to be a community in Solidarity, and it looks like to me (we are still new here, but we are making ourselves at home cause these folks seem like our type of people) we are protective of this community. Now when looking through the scope of this site and community you will always be looking through their eyes and filter. We all see what we want to see. What exactly will you be seeing and experiencing on your time at temptations? Well That's impossible for any person to say, that the answers are so Vague and not to the point, people have given you a whole array of answers, because the answer is based on a bunch of factors that would be impossible for anyone to predict, so your answer is and has been a Continuum of possibilities that you should be prepared to experience and handle with an open mind. Once again, I'd like to thank those that have responded kindly. Even those that respectfully thought this resort might not be for us.I appreciate those that respected the questions. A few have stated that they are glad I asked the questions and I have received personal messages saying the same, many not wanting to add fuel to the fire under people such as Marshe. My questions were answered adequately and I thank those of you that answered. I have a lot better understanding of what this resort has to offer and what to expect from one end of the spectrum to the other. And that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. For those that have mentioned this, I have no problem with my spouse seeing other women and we have spoken about what we are comfortable with. As well as set limits to how "far" we are willing to go. Contrary to what Marshe says, our decision was not made in 34 minutes. This thread was posted long ago and we used the kind replies from the thread, as well as, recent reviews made about GOV to make our decision. Whatever you do, don't tell Marshe that several TTR loyals are heading over to GOV to check it out because they too have heard GREAT things about it and feel that the atmosphere is something they would enjoy. Many have been and come back already with great reviews and are excited about the changes it has to come. As some of you have stated, the majority of people are great at TTR but like anywhere you will find some jerks. What turned us off the most to TTR is comments from people like Marshe. What you (Marshe) don't seem to understand is that even after searching the forum we still didn't have answers to the questions we had. Maybe I should have asked them in a more crude, profanity laced format and you would have been more likely to see where I was coming from. Maybe even dumbed it down a little. Where I think we are the same, Marshe, is that we are both obviously fighters at heart. Competitive. And passionate. Where we probably differ is that I try to be respectful and kind. Sure I mess up and say something stupid from time to time or ask a question in a way that might be taken wrong but I own up and say sorry and change it to make it right. Also, I don't like surprises. I bet you do. And that's great. Sometimes I wish I were that way a little more. I like to know what I am getting into. EVEN if that means I am going to get a very wide range of possibilities, as I think the case is with TTR. But now I know. Now I know what to expect. I understand that it will be what the people make it during my stay. Every stay will be different. But after asking my questions I got FAR more answers then were given else where. I can evaluate those and make a decision. I also know that once I get there I will be in for different situations that are out of my control. "Surprises" if you will. Those kind of surprises are fine with me. I loved the comment made by one person that said he wasn't looking forward to penises flying around but he wasn't going to reach for the eye bleach. he would laugh be glad it wasn't him in that situation. I laughed pretty hard at the possibility of that happening. Because I would be laughing right along with him. Those are surprises I am in for. Now I know for sure that if I were to go to TTR that is the kind of thing I might run into. Before my question, I didn't know. I am glad I asked the questions as many have said they also received answers they were looking for and that's what I was after. I will enjoy the scenery at GOV as I will not only be looking at, what has been described as a better more beautiful beach but by the time I get there, there will most likely be a wide range of sexy activities and beautiful (all shape and sizes) breasts standing right behind the topless signs that you speak of. I also enjoy that fact that I can go to all of there sister resorts for free and enjoy everything they have to offer. Most likely our entire stay will be here rather then split for this reason. As to the "nickle and dime" comment. It is still cheaper for us to stay at TTR then GOV. Yet we chose GOV. Marshe, I appreciate the fight in you. I see that you go head to head with others in other forum questions as well. Many on the GOV threads. It seems you go looking for the fight. I on the other hand only fight back when the fight comes to me. I love a good debate. So thanks for getting me fired up! I really do hope you have a great time on your next vacation. I bet you are fun to be around with all that fire you have. Unless of course you don't like someone. In that I case I would go as far to guess that you will make that person wish they never met you. Don't be that person. As to whether this was a legit post, I am a real person. I am not a college student, any longer anyway, as someone suggested. I've never been to Cancun. I've never been to a resort like this. I am a very inquisitive person. I don't like surprises. And if you can't tell by now, I can be long winded. We are excited about our trip and believe it or not, like I posted at the end of my very first post, I will probably be right there along with the others having a great time and partying. Heck, you might even find me behind one of those signs! I am open to that possibility. Shocker, right? Most of all, take it easy people. We attend an Oldies bar "Johnnys Hideaway" in Atlanta quite often . To be honest Temptations has a REALLY TERRIBLE reputation !! Once people find out we go to TTR , however they are very interested in finding out the truth about the place. In my opinion, most folks that would attend a "juke joint" like Johnnys would love TTR. Most folks put it on the same level as Hedo II in Jamaica. That is simply NOT the case at all. However a lot of people that I'm sure would enjoy TTR are simply afraid of grossing themselves or their significant other out totally !!! We have never seen ANYONE have any type of SEX at TTR in our 2.1 trips, At Hedo we witnessed 3 sex acts within the first hour of getting in the nude pool. I could get used to that, my wife can't (and won't)!! Sure there is a LITTLE nudity with some of the games, but thats it. a lot of women are okay with showing their hooters, but thats as far as they want to go !!! No Nakeness !!! Do some folks behave badly, I guess so, but never really witnessed it at TTR. At Johnnys Hideaway, Hell Yes, every Friday nite. Whenever you mix Alcohol with anything, there might be problems. TTR security has years of experience and is really on top of everything. We have stayed at Hedo, Breezes and other Jamaican resorts and to be honest the most friendly folks were at TTR !!!
