Curious about second trip reports...this is why

Each year we have a blast!! There are some years that stand out more than others. Sometimes it was just because something super funny happened, sometimes it's t the people you meet, sometimes it's the year you meet back up with friends made over the previous years....sometimes it's the weather. We had a year that was chilly and rainy. We still talk about that year...That was a definite slower year as far as the party goes. Lol

 

We are in the process of booking trip #9. Over the years, going way back to the Blue Bay days, it has always been the people and staff that make the trip. We did take a 5 year hiatus and go to Cozumel so I could dive. Our last year at Blue Bay almost all of the staff was gone, Chinos, Enrique, and Mandy, Lalo was the only one left and you could tell they had clipped his wings.

This is our 4th year back and as always it is the people that make the trip. The HME (Hot Mess Express) and the Nakify July groups have made our trips. This year we are back to going in June and looking for the June Junkies to do the same.

We are heading back for our third time at the end of May.. We have gone each time over the same week because of my work schedule and LOVE the repeat people over that time.. Both times we had a ton of fun, the first time was slightly more exciting only for the fact we didnt know what we were really getting into. The second time we still had a lot of fun however the unknown wasnt really a factor anymore so we were a bit more prepared for what was to come. We're going back for trip #3 so #2 must have still been good!

 

We had a blast both times we went mostly due to the people, we the second time better we thought so. Was there things that were different from the first time yes there was but that still hasn't changed our minds into going back because of the friends we made at TTR. Everyone's experience is diiferent

 

been 3 times (1st single and had no idea about CCC) wasn't as wild but was fun, 2nd time was a blast w/GF and the April Addicts made lots of friends,3rd trip in April was better than the last was able to reconnect with friends and party even harder. so the next trip should be even wilder

 

lol OOPS! We booked based on one of my close friend's recommendations so we knew what it was about - but she didn't know about CCC. She would have fun in a paper box so don't think she cared about not knowing about the theme nights. And she has been changing her FB profile pics to her tame TTR trip pics on almost a daily basis so I think I'm close to convincing her to join us! lol She was at our very random wedding so I think it's fitting and essential she be there for our anniversary! lol

 

It's alchemy to get a party to blow up just right. It will never happen the same way or at the same time as any event before. The worst thing you can do is try to force it too.

I keep coming back because I'm a gambler and I know the odds of a great party at TTR are better than anywhere else.

 

June junkies do seem to rule . There just great peps

 

We've never been in June, but we got the chance last September to party with a purpose (for Make a Wish) with some of those June peeps, involved with Wishes, Wonders, & Whodat's, in New Orleans.....I agree, they are pretty outstanding!!:daveandmo:

 

Never been in June but I do know that the April Addicts are about the greatest group of people I've ever partied with!
