I dont if it's just me, but the fact that a manager of GOV is actually on this site and makes comments regarding their hotel is really impressive. I wish TTR management would get on the boat. I have not had problems (fingers crossed) but it is good business to listen to customers and to respond. I love that Valentina is giving out her email and saying to let her know when CCC members are coming to prevent bumping. Good job GOV
Wait, never have been to GOV...I meant never have had a problem at TTR but the management seems to be deaf to the complaints voiced at TTR. We love love love TTR, but plan on checking out GOV this summer.
some companies manage social media differently. the approach GOV uses seems to be pretty good from what I can tell. Though TTR is still very well run (hence why so many people keep going there). Let's hope that they look over the fence so to speak at eachother and keep on copying the good portions of each others concepts going forward.
I wish TTR would get up to speed on DJs and requesting music, maybe even allowing people to have a song or two played from a device. I have to say, over the food, swingers debate, topless or not, timeshare pitch, etc. I am MOST worried about being disappointed by the music the entire time than anything else. I'm not saying I expect my "favs" the whole time but I'm worried about not hearing anything good based on so many of the posts on here. Priorities
Skip the nothing part, just the desire that our favorite place just keeps getting better. PSA: Don't drink and type.
Too be totally candid, I disagree. I would be annoyed if Mecca tried to be all things to all ppl. Or tried to address evry lil wh8m on here. Too often I have seen newbies on here who have never been there yet, or maybe once, wanting changes and their personal taste fulfilled. Temptation offers "comments"conduits on premises, and to be honest, personal investment in Mecca is your calling card in terms of how much weight personal views carry with management. Lastly, TTR has been doin this a long time and possess an enviable repeater business. They are sold out 47% of the calendar. They aren't trying to build a client base. They invented the concept in Cancun. So I think they know what they are doin. (And they don't have to create signs to tell ppl how to chill or party)
Haha another spirited jab! :aktion070: Truth be told though I see where you're coming from. GOV is the new kid on the block, they have to go the extra mile to bring in the clientelle that would usually go to TTR. Being responsive to members (like you and I) of course is important, since we did spend extra money that the first timer didn't. though I don't want to see general service fall in quality as a consequence (see non-members I care for you!).
We are premier members so we do have some skin in the game. Please understand that we love TTR and will continue to go year after year. That said all I was trying to say is that it is nice to see the management of GOV participate and respond to people here even if it just to answer questions.
