This resort is nothing short of top notch. We have been to many resorts and adult only resorts and can tell you that if you communicate with the resort and ask questions, you will not be dissapointed. I'm not going to nock anyone for wining or being negative, but I will tell u that some people will never be happy". Gong!
The fact alone that an employee of the resort comes to the boards and adresses concerns speaks volumes of the place. With a hotel changing themes Im sure there are some growing pains involved you have to expect. We look forward to your trip report . Hope you have a great time!

Since we started this post just wanted to let everyone know that we contacted Valentina prior to going via email and our trip was very nice. Upon arrival was taken to the VIP check in, placed in a nice room, and enjoyed our vacation. Thanks Valentina
And we've been in touch w Valentina for two months with 2 rooms and zilch upon arrival. Got a room, but these spring break kids have VIP bracelets. It's almost insulting. Reviews later. Here now & not thrilled.
Spring breaker have VIP bracelets from the hotel ?? Or is it VIP bracelets for the night club party packages?
The hotel. I booked over 2 months ago. A couple we just met booked a week ago & were put in a Spice room. Like I said, I'll review later. I've been to Cancun over 10 times. I'm no stranger to 'the norm'.
We just got back last night.......had a great time. I don't think the kids have "VIP" bracelets.......we were there when Sara was passing them out. We got some also.......they're just trying to use the colored bracelets they had for the new concept in a different way right now. Sara calls the green bracelets as "I'm friendly and like to party" and the red as "Snooty don't talk to me" kinda thing. It's a soft way of introducing the bracelets as a way of showing what kind of interaction you want. Valentina was absolutely wonderful while we were there. She stopped and talked to us several times and we saw her talking to many others as well. We will definitely be back to GOV.........I think they've crested the hump and each month will get much easier for them. In any event........we had a great stay and we will be back........they've come a long way in a short time.
