We'd thought of doing that but decided to wait. Might have been good as they changed our flight times both ways lol Here's something you don't often here, they changed our departure flight from one with a layover in Vancouver to direct to Calgary, leaving Mexico 2 hours later so more pool time We'll book it this upcoming weekend.
We don't know why but last month my brother in law got free beer with USA Transfers for the drive. Has anyone else had this service? We never
They have competition from Canada Transfers now who allow you to purchase cans of Corona for $1 on the ride to the Hotel zone now. Always good to see competition get all of us better service.
True, usually. In this case Canada Transfers are Mexican ex business partners of USA Transfers. After a falling out they stole several vans which USA Transfers are still making payments on and even chose their name to piss off the owner of USA, who is in fact Canadian. I guess they can afford to undercut if someone else is making the payments on their vehicles. If anyone wants to save $5 then be my guest, but this company wont get any airtime from me I'm afraid. By the way a can of Corona costs 8 pesos (60 cents US) at an Extra or Oxxo convenience store. Just ask your driver to stop on the way, buy him a soda and he'll be happy to oblige.
I was going to wait due to potential flight changes too, but I booked the other day (we arrive 4 days after you). You don't pay up front and you give them your flight number so they can tell if the flight changes. They give you an email address and toll free number in their confirmation in case you need to change your times or if your flight is delayed before you leave.
ABSOLUTELY, we asked Steve about this earlier not knowing about the situation. Soooo glad we asked! But my brother in law did book USA Transfers and got the beer. Was just curious. Don't know about you but we are always CRACKING for a nice cold beer when we land! USA Transfers should offer this. Bet everyone would take advantage of it. Better than paying$$$ for beer at the airport!:beer4:
I asked Brant (owner of USA) about this a while back. Their business is huge now - on their busiest days they run up to 600 services - 90% of which is repeat customers, so they must be doing something right. If each van is stocked with 10 beers for each trip, they'd need to have up to 6000 beers a day on hand, pre-chilled and replenish stock and ice every service. Their drivers are quite happy to stop for 5 minutes while you pick up a six pack at a convenience store, there are several en route. Just buy the driver a can of soda and he'll be your friend for life
