I used them for a trip to the DR a few years ago, and they were fine. They act like they have all these bells and whistles and extra "discounts" - but it just comes down to your final price. Don't know if they have a rep at TTR, but they did in the DR.

Really appreciate all of the feedback..very helpful. Really didn't expect this much info, especially in such a short period of time!
Do realize that a few horror stories can be found when searching for complaints from any Travel Agency.
Now feel better about CheapCaribbean and they are currently several hundred dollars less expensive than Funjet.
Now going to check out USA airport transfers (as listed on Cancuncare.com). Anyone have experience with them? May create another thread unless I can find a current thread on the subject. Not having much luck with the searches. Guess there is a chance I doing something wrong ;)

I always use bookit.com, they always seem to have the cheapest package prices and I've always had great customer service!!! Just used them to book this upcoming trip to TTR March 20-25!!!!!

I just looked at my trip confirmation and it lists "Destination Service Representative", so I'm going to assume they are on site, as they were on our other trips.

We used CheapCaribbean for a trip to Riviera Maya last year. We also booked transfers through them. Everything was great. I will use them again for my next trip as long as their prices are competitive.

This is our first time using cheap tickets. They seem like the same user interface as orbitz. Hope they are legit too!

We used Expedia last year and had no problem at all. Booked transportation through them using Best Day. No complaints at all. Would have used them again this year but Travelocity was so much cheaper (and with a nonstop flight). First time using Travelocity.

On CheapCaribbean: the listed R/T cost is $22.50 pp for shared rides and $57.50 pp for Private which seems a bit steep.

On CancunCare.com: The USA Transfers (for "private" R/T) are listed at $55 RT for up to 3 people, $65 for up to 7 people and $70 up to 10 people. Assuming I'm reading it right, that's the total cost and not a per person thing. I would pay the extra $10 for the private RT transfer (if only 2 people) and this seems to be a much, much better deal if you have several couples going together, as we may have.
