Great TR and agree 100 percent. Met great people. shout out to Brendan and his beautiful and very understanding wife Rachel. Stay safe Brendan in Afghanistan, someone has to jump out of planes, I guess.

 

Thanks for the detailed TR. We get excited everytime we read a good one. Were definately hitting GOV this year! Just have to hammer the dates out.

 

I just pulled it from the internet, but wow that one bolt wasn't much further than this was from the camera. Even Chinos felt the static electricity through his microphone. It didn't take long for everyone to go underneath! I knew that cover was good for something! LOL! Thanks again for an outstanding time Steve!

Thanks so much for the great trip report. Glad to hear Valentina is there for us if any issues arise. And also answered alot of our questions on what to pack/bring. 34 more days!!!

 

I am wondering if that boat didn't get popped that day, scared the living s@#t out of us!

Really, I don't know if we could decide between the 2, even if I could I wouldn't post it here because it would strictly be our opinion. There are positives and negatives about both places, but from our experience, and for what we are looking for in a vacation, we can't go wrong at either place!

 

Great trip report guys........we had a similar experience and very much enjoyed our stay at GOV. PS - that lightening strike pic looks like it was taken from the GOV lobby.......it was an amazing sight as it hit the water very close to GOV.
