Put a 20 dollar bill in a sealed envelope. While they start to check you in Hand it to the person and say " this is for you we appreciate your help". We do this at every hotel we have ever checked into and have about a 98% rate on getting huge upgrades and comps. Last Hotel we did that at we got bumped up to a suite that was 5 times the price we paid for. No one ever seems to tip the one person whos the biggest game changer as far as your vacation goes. We always book the cheapest room and end up getting the top of the line. Were both industry poeple in las vegas so we know a little grease (Bribery or whatever you wanna call it) goes a long way when it comes to hospitality!

if a 20 $ bribe gets you a 500$ upgrade, they would run out of rooms real quick, but if there out of the cheap rooms, it may get you up the line for an up grade, or bump some one out of their room
