Curious about second trip reports...this is why

Well, I am very curious about second time treks to TTR. Just made my first trip in June'13 and really enjoyed the atmosphere between the June Junkies and the numerous groups and singles traveling from Canada, Europe, and more. The first two days of the 11 day adventure, well, hung around with a Canadian and an other American, which departed soon after. Great times and explored the city and its nightlife with them. Then for the next 9 days or so, just bummed around and partied with new UK friends (three distinct groups that had never met before) and had a great time. Also, met so many nice people from this site.... so, at the end of the day: the first time, I didn't know what to expect and much surpassed any previous travels. Well, for the second trek coming 27 April to 9th of May, just wondering if the first time experience is the norm...? or shall the stay be more subdued or just totally "out of the box"...? not sure if ya can get more out of the box with the June crowd and loved it...Hell, very tempted to make a show in June. Of course, the toss-up in May was back to TTR or visit Prague.

I've heard that May and June is much more to your liking, if cancunswingers is what you're referring to?

LOL, sorry... I tend to ramble. I am wondering if it is foolish to expect to walk in the same foot prints in the sand? People that have numerous visits here, evidently have a serious of stellar experiences... Is it realistic to bet that the second trek shall be very much similar or even better? Sorry about the confusion.

 

Oh, not refer'n to swingers at all... just wondering if the second trek can be expected to be as grand as the first? Several folk here have made 8 - 15 or more visits and something kept them coming back to TTR... so, guess I "compare" this to teaching, LOL, ya really don't know if ya'll like it until ya settle into ya third year,,, sorry for the confusion :icon_smile:

 

I think that we all make our own experiences... many people become more open to idea of what they can actually do only after their first experience. Sounds as if though you may have let your guards down on your first trip. Our second trip was much better than our first...

 

Been there numerous times , and yes one of them was very special and above average fun, then the next 2 times were still good but felt like a disappointment cause of the one extreme good , time,

Cherish the good times , and more will come

This April is building up to be a ''good'' time

2nd trip

WE HAVE BEEN 19 TIMES MANY IN MAY (GREAT CROWD) BUT WE HAVE DECIDED THE BEST TIMES ARE IN APR,MAY. SEPT, OCT,JAN,FEB OF COURSE,FIRST TRIP JUNE LOVED IT, DEC WAS A BLAST!
YA DONT THINK YOU CAN GO WRONG IN MAY BE WAITING FOR A TRIP REPORT
