was wondering if its a good Idea during this time. Heard quite humid and more chance of rain then other months. hurricane season :/ anyone going and whats it like? What kinda crowds? Thx
lots of people go over labour day. Especially if you've never traveled , go and have fun! you'll be going at a hot time of year but you'll have a blast!
normaly go in sept always have a blast . but we did have bad weather last sept compared to the other times when we have been in sept .
There are 5 of us, all first timers going 9/20-9/27. I am so glad I found this forum. It has answered a lot of questions, including this one. I was a bit worried about the weather in September too, especially since I didn't see a "Sticky September" Thread. Search is wonderful feature!
We will be there again. last year was the most rain we had ever. All the other trips in Sept have been great. Last year was fun too but we danced in the rain quite alot.
We have been to Mexico about that time for several years in a row because of kids activities at other times. It is always a risk with the weather but we would say a very low risk. We have never had a bad time in the Fall. Having said that we also always get travel insurance and have never needed to use it. We never hesitate going in the Fall (September). It will be hot and humid and very fun I am sure.
We were there at the end of Sept. beginning of Oct. It was hot and humid but you just stay in the pool We had one day were a tropical depression moved in, it ended up cancelling our Boobs Cruise. We had fun at the bar anyway, one of the best days. Watching the shear volume of rain that can come down in a short period was interesting. Cleared up late afternoon and was sunny and hot the rest of the time. We went to Golden Parnassus mid Dec. and had 2-1/2 days of rain, still fun but it really cooled the pool off. A rainy day in Cancun beats pretty much any day here
I'll be heading down Sept 4-11th. Hurricane season just makes for cheaper prices! Lol hopefully any rain will be short lived
