My husband has pretty sensitive skin and every time we go to TTR he ends up with a rash all over his legs. We spend hours every day in the Sexy Pool and our suspicion is that it comes from there. It goes away after a few days. Anyone else have this experience? Anyone found a cure/prevention?
Not a problem I've had but again I'm not too surprised, they probably hit it with enough chemicals to disinfect a crack house every night and during the day you have people in there with so many different kinds of suntan lotion etc that somebody getting allergic reactions doesn't surprise me. Also the "Sex Pool"? Does that mean I have to have sex in there now? Going to be a bit awkward as I'll be coming down alone.
Every time I'm there I get a rash on my calves to mid thigh and my feet and calves swell badly. Always thought it was a heat rash. I use hydrocortisone and goes away in couple days. Usually stay of the pool at the height of it as it burns badly in the pool. I use hydrocortisone for a week ever night before bed before we go. Helped a lot in December. Trying it again in April. I often get heat rash, perhaps that's what he's getting. Mind you the way I cure it is by keeping my legs cool by staying IN the pool. If he's in the pool all day that's probably not the problem. Anyway, Google heat rash and see if that's what he's getting. Hope that helps.
Oh, I also remember someone saying they took a chlorine measuring kit to TTR and the amount of chlorine in the sexy pool was huge. Might also be the issue.
I wouldn't want to see the chlorine reduced in that pool.... the heat rash might be the least of your concerns Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
I've got a hot tub at home, and if people with sensitive skin get in right after I add chemicals, itchy skin and a rash is possible.
